The radical work is calling us.

Radix (Latin) = root

Getting to the root cause of the pervasive issues of our humanity, is what must be at the foundation of any healing process: whether it be social, physical, mental, or spiritual.

We will find the answers we need. But this can only come about after we courageously and faithfully accept the calls to go within. From there we can really lift the cloudiness and ‘stuck’ energy  that gets in the way of our perceptions; and only then does the path for each of us start to become clear. With the gifts of Ayurveda, we come to know our essence, our own true gifts, and how we can best use them to emerge with the energy to work for harmony and liberation for our collective human and non-human kin.

The Yogic texts guide us to see our own ‘not-knowing’ our true nature (avidya), our identification with lower ego (asmita), our attachments to various things, people, and beliefs (raga), our aversions (dvesa) and ultimately, fear (abhinivesa), all residing within our subtle conditioning.  And that these kleshas, as they are called, keep us in a cycle of suffering, both individually and collectively, time and time again. Can we each see that we have our own experience of this?

Illness is “I”, Wellness is “We”

Deep change will happen when we clear the clutter (and/or metabolic toxins, ama, produced in our gut,) and cultivate faith, shraddha, to tap into our Source. We have been born many times to learn these lessons. This kind of work is not what most of us are taught to value in modern society; however its ‘radical’ (rooted) nature is calling out louder, to more of us now.

The quiet brilliance of the true practices of Ayurveda and Yoga are timeless and enduring. They can become a powerful path for us, to cultivate a clarity and resilience that we collectively need now more than ever. We will create our vision for the Future, when we walk the path in our Present.
